RIGID Mini Water Chiller uses a plate heat exchanger to transfer heat between two fluids. It has the major advantage of extraordinary cooling performance because the fluids are spread out over the liquid tubes.

RIGID liquid chillers are good for customers who are able to deal with system control. They want cooling subsystems only to integrate into their machine. The customer’s software can connect with our driver board to control compressor speed and get the complicated functions they needed.

5. WHAT ARE RIGID LIQUID CHILLER APPLICATION?

The minimum evaporating temperature and the condensing temperature allow RIGID liquid chillers to apply applications of LBP, MBP, and HBP.

Low Back Pressure systems such as freezers have evaporator temperatures below -20ºC (-4ºF). Medium Back Pressure systems such as food coolers or beverage dispensers have evaporator temperatures higher than -20ºC (-4ºF). High Back Pressure systems such as chillers and air conditioners have evaporator temperatures higher than -5ºC (+23ºF).

8. WHAT'S THE AMBIENT TEMPERATURE OF THE MINI WATER CHILLER?

The standard mini water chiller can work under the ambient temp of 45℃ (113℉).

For the custom water chiller system, we choose tropical compressors, which can bear 55 ℃ (131℉).

9. CAN THE CHILLER OUTPUT MADE WITH THREADED CONNECTION, PREFERABLY 3/8"?

Sure, just tell us your specific requirements before production.

The standard chiller uses straight fitting, with diameters of inlet and outlet 12mm. Besides, we also provide quick coupling to change 12mm to 10mm.

10. HOW TO MONITOR THE LIQUID TEMPERATURES IN THE CHILLER SYSTEM?

All RIGID cooling systems come with a potentiometer (optional), which is used to adjust compressor speed to control the temperatures. Usually, our customers use their own PWM to control the compressor speeds.

11. HOW TO CONNECT THE WATER COOLING SYSTEM INTO MY DEVICE?

The mini water chiller comes with a drive board, which has a communication port for customers to integrate into their own software.
